@see offers the unique opportunity to experience some truly unique things up close. In addition to the craziest bicycles you’ll ever see by Didi Senft in Storkow, you’ll find activities that can only be described as mad, such as the only uphill slide in Germany at Schwapp Fürstenwalde.

The region offers a number of extraordinary surprises for young and old, for example, MitMachPark Irrlandia in Storkow, the climbing parks in Grünheide and Bad Saarow, and the summer toboggan run in Bad Saarow. All perfect for active play, running around, and simply having fun in the fresh air to stimulate your children’s senses in a playful way. If you’re more of a water rat, you’ll want to head to the Schwapp water park in Fürstenwalde featuring the Master Blaster that can send you up the water slide! Engage your creative and artistic side at the ceramics workshop in Bad Saarow.
But if you want to experience something completely mad, you definitely won’t come up short @see: we’re home to Panzerkutscher, Europe’s first school teaching how to drive a tank for fun.
Our region is much more than lakes and cycle paths. There is a lot more to experience particularly for families with children. The nature-loving interactive Park IRRLANDIA in Storkow is open every year from late May to early October with more than 50 game offerings for searching, playing hide and seek, playing, running around and climbing, marbles, slides, swings or hops, puzzles and amazement, building and tinkering, mud mixing and throwing – so why not join in.

A variety of events
The Theater am See in Bad Saarow regularly hosts performances that you’re sure to find interesting. Be there when passionate musicians, mysterious magicians, and high-energy dance groups take to the stage on the Scharmützelsee or visit the temporary exhibitions at Galerie Altes Rathaus in Fürstenwalde and in Storkow Castle.
You also won’t want to miss the popular and traditional Radscharmützel held every year in September, drawing cyclists and skaters from all over Germany. Another highlight for the whole family: the colourfully decorated dragon boats to in June’s FüwaRace, where as many as 1,000 participants compete for first place each year.
For lovers of live music, the annual family festival Flammender Scharmützelsee each autumn is perfect with an extensive programme of performances and impressive fireworks for a peaceful, family-friendly party @see.
